GReSBAS Workshop

In this workshop, the GReSBAS project will be discussed by a panel of experts on the sector.
The discussion will focus on the main outputs of the project, as well as on the impacts achieved so far.
The future development and exploitation of the apps developed to foster energy efficiency will also be on stage.
The workshop will feature speakers from ITU, Makel, INESC TEC, Baskent EDAS and MEDAS.

The Path of Innovation’18 – Expo & Networking

The event “The Path of Innovation’18” is an exhibition of Research & Development projects, in Portugal.
GReSBAS project was present through a stand where visitors could get to know the project through a video and a tablet with the GReSBAS application. In addition, one of the members of the project clarified all the doubts that arose in the participants of the event.

Porto Consortium Meeting
Date: 21-22 September, 2018
Location: Porto (Portugal)

The main objectives of the meeting are to fine-tune some general aspects related with the gamification solutions developed and to define the next steps about the international competition.

The consortium will also update the list of KPIs that will be used to assess the project impacts, which will be addressed in WP5 – Impacts Assessment and Regulatory Recommendations –that will start in December.

2018 ERA-NET SG + Family of Projects

At this event, GReSBAS project will have the opportunity to be part of the “Knowledge Community Meeting”, contacting with other experts from more than 30 projects financed by the ERA-Net SG+ initiative. There will also be a
feedback session about projects.

The event will take place at the VDTC building of Fraunhofer IFF.

GALA 2017: Games and Learning Alliance Conference 2017

The Games and Learning Alliance conference (GALA 2017) is an international conference dedicated to the science and application of serious games.

The conference aims at bringing together researchers, developers, practitioners and stakeholders. The goal is to share the state of the art of research and market, analysing the most significant trends and discussing visions on the future of serious games.

The conference also includes an exhibition, where developers can showcase their latest products.

The conference is organized by the Serious Games Society, that is building a scientific community at international level for shaping future research in the field. This community represents a significant blend of industrial and academic professionals committed to the study, development and deployment of serious games as really useful and effective tools to support better teaching, learning, training and assessment.

The GALA Conference 2017 Proceedings will be published on Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) and the best papers in a special issue of the Int.l Journal of Serious Games, as the previous years.

The 10th “International Conference on Electrical and Electronics Engineering, ELECO 2017” is organized as international conferences in odd-numbered years and as national conferences in even-numbered years.

Special session in Powertech 2017

PowerTech is the IEEE PES anchor conference in Europe and has been attended by hundreds of delegates from around the world. It will be an international forum with an exciting programme for individuals working in industry and academia, to network, exchange ideas, and discuss the results of their research and development work. The conference will be the largest gathering of international researchers and practitioners working in the general area of electrical power engineering outside the USA in 2017 and possibly the largest such conference ever held in the UK and certainly the largest to be held in the UK for a generation.

Kick-off Era-Net Smart Grids Plus
